Making Memorable Meetings with Cooperative Members

National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC) is an industry-leading information technology company that develops and supports advanced, integrated solutions such as billing, accounting, engineering & operations and mobile apps for utility cooperatives and telecommunications companies across the nation.

At TechAdvantage Expo, NISC sought to maximize face time with their members, solidifying relationships and cross-selling new products and services.

To help create an attention-getting yet accessible space, CenterPoint designed a 40 x 40 custom rental exhibit with monumental impact yet a vast amount of open meeting space. “I can honestly say it’s been the highlight of the year so far, being able to see so many members in one spot,” said Doug Remboldt, NISC VP of Member Success.

The exhibit provided several different interaction zones: soft / casual seating, demo areas with high top tables and monitors, and a genius bar positioned in front of the large video wall. This allowed the client to have different levels of product conversations and to discuss how their membership organizations gain efficiency through partnership with NISC. The demo areas felt private with canopies overhead. “Loving the engagement with our membership … we’ve had lots of positive feedback,” said DeAnn Arnhart, NICS Account Manager.

Two large walls presented NISC branding from the outside of the exhibit and impact inside: A 16-foot-tall wall housed a LED videowall and storage, while a 12-foot-tall wall featured a large, evenly backlit graphic on both sides, with inviting space for meetings inside the exhibit. The NISC brand is also seen from far away with a large hanging sign and up close with reception tables.

“NISC has been the rock star. Walking around with the NISC logo, it’s an amazing sense of pride that I have to be associated with it, because nearly every person in here knows about NISC and has been by our booth,” said Tracy Langston, NISC, Release Manager.

Elements of this exhibit were also used in a 20×20 configuration at the RTIME show a month earlier, which helped with cost-sharing between shows. NISC also used some of the exhibit elements for a 40′ x 40′ space at their own private Member Information Conference in Nashville, further extending the value of one exhibit platform across multiple events.
